Why TaxTrends

Advice built around decisions, not paperwork.

Compliance matters. But the valuable question is usually what you should do before the return, transaction, move or business decision becomes irreversible.

Cross-border thinking

Residence, foreign income, treaty questions and international structures are treated as connected issues.

Bilingual support

UK tax and accounting explained clearly in English or French where language and terminology otherwise create friction.

Technology that is useful

Calculators and trackers are designed to improve the planning conversation, not decorate the website.

From insight to implementation

TaxTrends explains the issues. Our accountancy practice can help implement the practical next steps where appropriate.

Common questions

Where should I start?

Do you only work with French clients?

No. We advise UK and international individuals and businesses. French-speaking and UK–France work is an important specialism, not the only work we undertake.

Can you help if I am moving into or out of the UK?

Yes. UK residence, split-year treatment, foreign income and gains, non-residence and the tax consequences of international moves are major themes across our private-client work and TaxTrends content.

Are the calculators a substitute for tax advice?

No. They are planning tools designed to help you understand the mechanics, test assumptions and ask better questions before acting.

Do I need to come to a London office?

No. Our team is London based, but consultations and ongoing work can also be handled remotely.
